Take a moment to gaze across the bay and focus on the round bare spot as puff eye. If you observe the landscape, it appears as though there’s a giant resting his head on the water, facing outward. Following this, the gentle curve of the land mimics the giant’s neck.

As the day comes to an end, you may want to head to Hanalei Pier for some of the most breathtaking sunset views. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the bay, is a magical experience. But Hanalei Pier is not just a place to take in the view. This spot is a social hub for both locals and visitors. It’s a place where you can feel the community spirit and the charm of the north shore.
